“Back for More!”
This was our 4th year flying with Air Nootka! And although our flight was delayed due to poor visibility (fog bank), it was a great flight. We appreciate that if it is not safe- we don't go until it is :). Scott is a great pilot and with Angie and Kristie they run a great business out of Gold River. Can not say enough how much we appreciate their professionalism! And the view from the flights is spectacular... and as a bonus there were otters, eagles to watch before take off

“Views from the plane are awesome!!”
Our 3rd trip with Air Nootka... and we will be going again!! Scott, Angie and Mike are reliable, professional, and friendly! Always feel safe flying with Air Nootka, they have never given us reason for concern. Their enthusiuasm is very infectious.. and we look forward to seeing them again. Our group owes them a thank you once again for making our trips the adventure of a lifetime :)

“Our Knight in a Shiny Plane”
Our second experience with Air Nootka... yes we returned from Nootka to try Hesquiat! But this time a pacific low with non stop rain had us praying the plane would be able to return in poor weather to pluck us out of Escalante beach. The Air Nootka team and pilots are excellent at what they do, and truly care about there customers.. after rescuing us from the beach, they were able to squeeze in a flight to our finish line so the trip was not lost. Doug, Scott and Kristie spoiled us and made us feel safe, welcomed and like old friends. With out a doubt just great all around people. The views from the flight are always outstanding, even in the rain!! Thank you for all that you do for us hikers, tourists, fishermen, and adventurers.. you make dreams possible :)

“Smoothest Flight Ever!”
Thank you Air Nootka for such a fabulous experience! I had never been on a float plane before so had some apprehension about flying in such a small aircraft. The people who work here seem to really enjoy what they do and answered all our questions and were so friendly and relaxed. The pilot flew us over the Nootka Island trail so we could preview our route for the next week. And because he had done the trail himself he was able to give us great information about what we were in for. The landing was so smooth I couldn't even tell we were actually on the water.

“Very Friendly Staff”
We took air Nootka to do the Nootka Island trail. Our Pilot Scott was awesome, apart from being a good pilot, he was also very knowledgeable about the places and things we could see from the plane (logging operations, Nootka sound, helilogging)
