Air Nootka Ltd. was incorporated in 1981. Our home base is in Gold River, a beautiful little town on the West Coast of British Columbia. We are currently flying a Cessna 185 and two De Havilland Beavers that are meticulously maintained and inspected. Our aircraft are all attended to, with the highest standards, by Sealand Aviation in Campbell River.
We have real time tracking in our aircraft so we always know the position, altitude, speed and routing of our fleet.
Our pilots have extensive flying experience and we take pride in providing the best service on Vancouver Island's West Coast.
Scott Carlsen
Head of Operations/Pilot
Scott Carlsen has over 8,000 hours of flying time. He started flying in 1990 and has worked exclusively for Air Nootka for the past 4 years. He has been Chief Pilot for Air Nootka since 2016. Most of his flying hours have been on the West Coast and Vancouver Island.
